Georgia Tech Letters of Evaluation Service
The Georgia Tech Letters of Evaluation (LOE) service is a letter packet compilation service for pre-health students and alumni. Pre-health advisors do not write letters of evaluation or committee letters. Instead, evaluators send their letters to Pre-Health Advising, and we disseminate the letters as a packet to health professional schools or application services (i.e. AMCAS, AACOMAS, AADSAS, TMDSAS, and/or AACPMAS) once an applicant makes a formal upload request.
- A maximum of 6 letters are allowed in your Letter Packet
- All school will accept your Letter Packet as it is an official GT service
- All letters submitted to the LOE packet service will be included in your packet of letters
LOE Virtual Drop-in Hours:

UPDATES ON NEW SYSTEM (as of July 27, 2020): Please check this section for the most up to date information on the status of the launch of the Letter Collection service.
July 27: Our system and process is now fully launched. All steps and directions are on GT Pre-Health Canvas. If you are applying this summer (2021 cycle) and have not started the letter collection process with us, please connect with a pre-health advisor and Ms. Morris during the virtual drop-in sessions in order to best evaluate how our office can best support you in this process.
April 14: We are exited to share that the GT Pre-Health Team has launched the second step for the LOE process. This step is where you will be able to request your letters of Recommendation and track them as they arrive to our office. A complete step-by-step manual and the link to the InfoReady system is posted on the GT Pre-Health Canvas site. If you have not registered on Canvas, please register here: http://www.prehealth.gatech.edu/register-canvas (note: new registrations for students and alumni will be added to Canvas once a week)
IMPORTANT: You should have confirmed ALL your letter-writers before you enter them into InfoReady. You should complete this stage of the process only once and should capture all your letter-writers' information at the same time. Once you submit your letter writer information on this step, you will not be able to go back and delete or change out letter writers.
April 3: We have launched the FIRST STEP, the "Intent to Apply," of the new GT LOE process. It is now available for students/alumni planning to apply this summer for the 2021 application cycle. In this step, applicants will indicate that they are planning to apply and identify what application services they will submit applications on. Links to submit your "Intent to Apply" are provided on our Canvas and Piazza sites. You can also check our Pre-Health Piazza site for other FAQs on the letters of evaluation.
- Direct questions to our LOE coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Join any of the daily Group Drop-in Sessions with quick questions.
To ensure that we can process all letters for a timely review by admissions committees, we ask that letter writers adhere to our May 26 deadline.
